I am a Lecturer (equivalent to an Assistant Professor) in the Department of Computing at Sheffield Hallam University.
I was previously a Research Fellow in the Cultural Communication and Computing Research Institute (C3RI) also at Sheffield Hallam.
I have also previously worked in the Interaction and Graphics group at the University of Bristol, as well as in the Input Devices and Music Interaction Laboratory (IDMIL) at McGill University and also at the Interaction Design Centre at the University of Limerick.
I specialize in human-computer interaction and the development of new hardware and software interfaces for a range of applications. I have worked on projects including medical devices, web presences, interactive museum exhibits, digital media exhibitions, educational interfaces, public displays and new musical instruments.
